| Description | Dallam Training and Education Centre ( based at Milnthorpe, near Kendal) offers a range of education and training opportunities for adults with some holiday children’s provision. ``Tutors and trainers cover ICT, outdoor training, sports and leisure, arts and crafts and languages. We also offer specialist courses for people in caring roles such as counselling for bereavement, working with adolescents and teaching assistants. Train the trainers courses are available and well as management and business courses. Courses can be tailor made and we run a wide range of nationally recognised qualifications. ``We also run courses of interest for vulnerable groups e.g the elderly, people with mental health problems.``Holiday outdoor activities for children are also well subscribed every year and we are licensed by the Adventure Licensing Authority. |
