| Description | MV in Community is part of National Initiative funded by DFES. ``It encourages young people aged 16-24 years to become involved volunteering opportunities that have local community benefit and personal development benefit to the volunteers. Millennium Volunteers gain certificates and awards which are nationally recognised when they achieve 100 & 200 hours of volunteering. ``Millennium Volunteers operates in six districts in Cumbria which are Carlisle, Eden, Allerdale, Copeland and South Lake District Areas and is managed by BCTV . |
