| Description | Appleby Heritage Centre is part of Eden learning. We provide adult education including learndirect from 14 locations throughout Eden. We also provide courses up to Masters Degree for people of all ages. We work with local schools to provide A-levels and bespoke education for young people at risk of not completing or attending school.``We also restore heritage vehicles. We have examples running on private railways throughout england. We train, using the above projects, engineers from age 14 onwards. ``We operate from a refurbished Midland Railway Goods Shed and various railway carriages alongside a platform next to Appleby Railway Station.
