| Description | Cumbria Rural Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity and has outlets at Ambleside, Grange & Windermere. We offer free, impartial & confidential advice on a range of legal and other enquiries such as housing, employment, consumer, benefits & debt. ``The team consists of fully trained volunteers and some paid workers including specialist caseworkers. A trustee board also made up of volunteers in the local community manages the organisation. People with diverse backgrounds offer their time to work in many different ways in a CAB and the CAB welcomes people from all walks of life. The free training our advisers undergo provides them with many transferable skills such as communication skills, computer skills and researching skills. People tend to find the personal development and training in equal opportunities an added bonus. |
